PEORIA (WEEK) – New Years may be kicking off at midnight for the grownups, but the kids got in their celebration early at the Peoria Playhouse today.
Parents were able to celebrate with their little ones at today’s Noon Year’s Eve with a prehistoric theme.
Kids were able to go on a scavenger hunt and a special tour of the fossil rock exhibit, decorate party masks and play dinosaur-themed games.
“A lot of people have been happy that they can come do something earlier in the day with their kids than opposed to staying up later in the night,” said Courtney Baxter of the Peoria Playhouse. “They can come play the playhouse which they always love and do something new as well than what they usually have.”
This is the Peoria Playhouse’s second Noon Year’s Eve Party – which sold out.
Keep an eye out for the exclusive party next year.
