UPDATE: A suspect is in custody for a triple homicide on Christmas morning in Cullom. The Livingston County Sheriff's Office confirmed first degree murder charges are pending following the homicides in the 400 block of E. Jackson in Cullom.

According to a release, deputies observed three deceased victims: a 51-year-old man, 48-year-old woman and 27-year-old man.

Cullom Mayor Barbara Hahn is asking for prayers this Christmas after three people were killed in a triple homicide at home there.

Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson says 911 dispatchers received a call about the incident at 2:05 a.m.

When Watson arrived however, he pronounced all three victims dead at the scene.

In a tweet, Hahn said "Our first responders and families involved sure could use some prayers of comfort. God knows who needs the help. It can happen anywhere!"

Cullom is a small town just north of the twin cities with less than 1000 people.

25 News has a reporter on scene who has spoken to neighbors who lived on the same street as the incident. That neighbor was visibly shaken up after telling us he could look out his window and see the bodies of the victims on stretchers.

Livingston County Sheriff's Office, Livingston County Coroner, Livingston County State's Attorney and Illinois State Police are investigating.
