PEORIA (WEEK) -- Molina Healthcare, along with the Salvation Army, Jolt Foundation and the Phoenix Community Development Services, will be hosting a winter preparedness event for Peoria’s homeless population on Thursday.
From 10-1 p.m. on Thursday, Molina will be giving away 200 winter preparedness packs containing fleece blankets, socks and hand and foot warmers while the Salvation Army will provide the first 200 attendees with a free meal, according to a release.
Free health screenings and resources will also be available.
Jolt Foundation will also offer HIV/HCV testing and harm reduction supplies (naloxone and fentanyl test strips).
The event will be at New Hope Apartments, 301 NE Jefferson St in Peoria.
