UPDATE (3 P.M.) — Police say the victim was shot several times in the leg late Sunday.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of Lisa Drive at about 11 p.m., when they found a man on the ground in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
The victim was transported to a hospital in Champaign Monday and was in stable condition, according to police.
BLOOMINGTON (WJBC) – Bloomington Police confirmed one person was wounded in a shooting that happened late Sunday night in a residential area on the city’s east side.
Our news partner WJBC reports police were called about 11 p.m. to Dianne Drive and Lisa Drive, near Clearwater Avenue and Airport Road. That’s where police said a man suffered at least one gunshot wound to the leg.
He apparently did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Police said the man was taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
There have been no arrests.
