Delavan marijuana cultivation center granted approval for adult-use growing

DELAVAN (WEEK) – The Delavan marijuana cultivation center has been approved to grow adult-use marijuana for recreational purposes, which becomes legal on January 1, 2020.

The Illinois Department of Agriculture approved the application from Revolution Global, making it the 12th center in the state to be allowed to grow adult, recreational-use marijuana.

Recently, Revolution broke ground on a second 75,000-square-foot facility at its Delavan location to increase marijuana growing production.

According to the IDA, only cultivation centers licensed to grow medical marijuana can apply for early approval of adult-use growth.
