LIVINGSTON COUNTY (WEEK) – Two additional educators in Central Illinois have seen their teaching licenses suspended.
Kathryn Patten, 34, of rural Dwight, was arrested May 31 by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office on charges of sexually assaulting an underage male student.
She is still listed as a staff member in the family and consumer science department at Dwight Township High School.
James M. Stoecklin was arrested on two counts of possession of child pornography involving a male student.
He was a teacher at Saunemin Elementary School and head baseball coach at Pontiac Township High School.
Both orders were signed Friday, October 25 by state superintendent of education Carmen Ayla and served to Patten and Stoecklin today, October 31.
