GALESBURG (WEEK) — After an ongoing drug investigation, the Galesburg Police Department and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office seized over a quarter pound of meth, and over 7 grams of heroin.
At 12:37 p.m. Wednesday, the GPD and the KCSO responded to a call in the 1500 block of East North Street in Galesburg in reference to the ongoing investigation, where they arrested Nicholas M. Hennenfent and Breona M. Harris, according to the GPD.
According to the GPD, the meth seized had a street value of $13,000 and the heroin was worth $750.
Hennefent was arrested for possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of heroin with intent to deliver and two warrants in Knox County for delivery of meth.
Each warrant, according to the GPD, carries a bond of $10,000. As of Thursday, bond had not yet been posted.
Harris was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and warrants out of Knox, Warren and Henderson counties.
