RIGHT NOW: Rain will ease up for your morning commute. The chance for additional showers and storms will return later in the afternoon. We will be mainly dry tonight, but temperatures will not be dropping down too much tonight and only getting into the near 70s.
THIS WEEKEND: The main chance for showers and storms will be Saturday and Sunday. This has caused for us to be in a Flash Flood Watch until 1:00 AM on Monday. The watch is in effect for our western counties as rainfall totals can reach between 2.5 to 3″. Those in the eastern counties are still going to see some rain, but not as much as those who are in the Flash Flood Watch.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Temperatures will cool off just in time for the start of Fall. A frontal boundary will pass through the region come Sunday which will help drop down temperatures into the mid upper 70s. Fall officially begins at 2:50 AM on Monday. We will see temperatures remain in this range for the next work week.
