(WEEK) — Jessica Young is the President of Advanced Correctional Healthcare which manages the litigation for a company that treats approximately 35,000 patients in correctional facilities across 15 states.
Over the years Jessica has significantly reduced ACH’s litigation rate by scrutinizing every case and getting down to the root cause of the issue. Her actions have raised the standards of both medical and mental health care being offered.
Jessica is also a nationally recognized lecturer on correctional healthcare topics partnering with the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare. She educates and encourages improvements at all correctional facilities, not just the jails but the prisons and juvenile detention centers too.
Jessica was the first national lecturer to discuss constitutional rights of transgender inmates. She is always fact-based, neutral and respectful in her approach. Correctional healthcare professionals nationwide trust her to lead them in the right direction.
Jessica Young is truly a leader in the Correctional Field.
Jessica also established the Monica Young Memorial Scholarship honoring her mother in law who passed away from brain cancer in 2016. Monica worked with children with disabilities and this scholarship assists students with learning disabilities in furthering their education through a trade, technical, vocational school or college. Jessica also fundraises for this scholarship.
Let’s welcome Jessica to the 25 Women in Leadership.
