Central Illinois schools make top 100 list on Niche.com rankings

(WEEK) — A research and ranking company has ranked several Central Illinois school districts in the top 100 out of 408 schools in its list.

Niche.com compiled the list of based on “rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education,” according to the company’s website.

Rankings factored in were state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality and other school ratings.

  • No. 36 — McClean County Unified School District No. 5
  • No. 38 — Morton Community Unit School District N. 709
  • No. 41 — Tremont Community Unit School District No. 702
  • No. 55 — Princeville Community Unit School District No. 326
  • No. 61 — Elmwood Community Unit School District No. 322
  • No. 69 — Eureka Community Unit School District No. 140
  • No. 75 — Roanoke Benson Community Unit School District No. 60
  • No. 79 — El Paso-Gridely Community Unit School District No. 11
  • No. 86 — Illinois Valley Central School District No. 321
