25 Women in Leadership: Katlyn Linsley

In a profession where Katlyn could literally go anywhere in the world to work and be gainfully employed, she is committed to staying right here and serving Central Illinois.

Katlyn is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with Easterseals. It is estimated that one in fifty-nine children are diagnosed with Autism. That means more than seven thousand children with Autism under the age of 18 reside here in Central Illinois. What is remarkable is that with this nationwide shortage of over 40,000 therapists we can keep Katlyn here at Easterseals.

Katlyn in fact is proud to call Peoria home. Katlyn is an achiever, a mentor and a team player. She has a passion for education and providing support for children and families with autism. Katlyn not only talks the talk, but walks the walk. She volunteers her time and serves as the President of the Central Illinois Autism Association and helps to run various sensory friendly events and fundraisers for the Central Illinois Autism community. She gives free community training on Autism, facilitates the CIAA board to give out grants to local families, therapists and teachers and has implemented community outreach programs offering free training to local businesses

Katlyn truly makes a difference every single day

Let’s welcome her to the 25 Women in Leadership.
