Well, that was fun right?! Sunday marked the second largest late-season snowfall event in the history of Peoria with 5.0″ of snow at the Peoria International Airport. Good news, there’s no snowfall threat this upcoming week!
Temperatures will struggle through the morning. Temperatures aren’t expected out of the 30s until the late AM hours. Eventually, we’ll warm up into the middle 50s with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. An afternoon sprinkle could be possible. Expect snow melting to be quick with warming temperatures this week.
Lows in the upper 40s with mostly cloudy skies. Patchy fog will be possible with snowmelt overnight. Could run into some dense fog early Tuesday morning.
HELLO 70s!!! We’re right back into the 70s by Tuesday and potentially extending through Thursday. Flooding and standing water could be an issue depending on how much rainfall accumulations Wednesday through Friday.
P.S: There’s no snow in the forecast for the next 7-10. 🙂
